My own product
JobFast
I designed and built this as my own product, so it shows I can make real software, not just templates. Nobody paid me to build it. I built it, launched it, and have kept it running ever since.
The problem
People who work in UK retail apply for jobs on general job boards. Those boards were never built for shift work, for hiring lots of people at once, or for CVs from outside an office. JobFast is made for them. It helps people write a better application, work out what a job really asks for, and get in ahead of the queue.

What was built
Logins and user accounts
People sign in by email or with a social account. Everyone's own pages and details stay locked to them, everywhere in the app.
AI-assisted career features
Google Gemini gives feedback on a CV and advice on each job application. It has limits and backups built in, so it holds up under real use.
Payments
Stripe handles one-off payments and monthly plans. The moment someone pays, their account updates to match.
A design that works on a phone
Built for small screens first, in Next.js and Tailwind. Dashboards, forms and pages that still work properly on a phone.
